Time for an “Old Fashioned” crowdfunding campaign!

Cas Metah supporters please take five minutes, watch this video and then donate to the cause! My next solo album “Old Fashioned” is ready to release but I want to do it all the way right, which essentially means spending a lot of money. With the amount of followers I have, if all of you can donate even just a little (or a lot!) I would be forever grateful! I’m offering perks in return too! The first perk I’m offering is the 3rd Eye Contact EP. It’s myself and Mellow Drum Addict on the rhymes, Defizit on the beats and EF Cuttin on the turntables. It’s dope! Pre-order it now (drops 8/18) at for either the minimum price or show some love and add a little more to the total at checkout. It’s all up to you how much you give! All proceeds go toward funding physical copies of “Old Fashioned” (vinyl, cassettes and CD’s), music videos and any other promotional costs, including an international tour. Every dollar counts! I’ll be keeping everyone up to date so be on the lookout for another video like this next week. Thank you so much! – Cas

Support MotionPlus “DoomsDay Prepper” crowd funding campaign

MotionPlus (of Scribbling Idiots) has a crowd funding campaign going right now to help cover the expenses of his next project DoomsDay Prepper. Being an indie artist means investing money out of your own pocket. Motion has been doing just that for many years but now he’s asking the fans who love his music to help him do some extra special stuff with this one! $30 donations get you a T-shirt, a CD (Sound Protest two) and a copy of DoomsDay Prepper when it drops. You can’t beat that! Donate here

Hip-Hop meets martial arts with JustMe’s “Hajime” EP

What’s up everybody! Thanks for checking out my blog! I’ve been so busy touring the last couple months I’ve not been keeping you up to speed on everything going on with my crew Scribbling Idiots.

My partner JustMe recently dropped an EP called “Hajime” on illect Recordings. It’s produced by Sebastian Hochstein (fka Jaq) and features Bianca Spriggs and myself, with cuts from Sean Patrick. Check below for the song I’m on, it’s called “Act A Fu”.  The whole EP is on some hip hop meets martial arts stuff, it’s really well done. You can get it on MP3 or cassette via or if you want the CD, JustMe has a few left. Catch him on social media.

Knock Five presents Writers Block Vol. 2

writers block vol. 2

Knock Five is a movement you might want to get familiar with. It began as a monthly hip hop event in Columbus, Ohio back in January 2014. Every third Saturday of the month at The Summit (2210 Summit St. near OSU campus) hip hop heads gather to see three acts, art displays from local artists and an open mic cypher at the end. After their first six months they released a project of brand new material they put together with artists who performed within that time frame over original production from Ohio beat makers. Well they just celebrated their one year anniversary, which meant time for Vol. 2! Since I performed at the event in November, I jumped on two tracks, check them out below:

Senseless Eye x Rick Chyme x Cas Metah – “Bus Sh*t” (Prod. Bombeardo)

Cas Metah x Ronin x Metro x J Messiah – “Abortion” (Prod. Sir EB Esq.)

You can download the whole project for free (or support what you want) here
